Panasonic is bolstering its lithium-ion battery production capacity to maintain its leading market share. Operations are underway at Panasonic’s battery factory inside the Tesla Gigafactory in Nevada where we’re making cylindrical battery cells for Tesla’s energy storage system and its Model 3 sedan.
