Unprecedented OEM-customer connectivity

For OEMs, OneConnect is an end-to-end solution that provides a direct channel to their customers. Available to add as an integration feature, OneConnect delivers important, relevant information and experiences from OEMs to their users through connected devices and their vehicle infotainment system – for example, notifications of software updates or service reminders, unobtrusively shared visually or audibly at the most convenient times. OneConnect strengthens old and opens new revenue streams as the customer experience deepens, all while providing OEMs with deep learning, advanced insights and analytics about their vehicles and the people who use them.

A fleet of vehicles is a large investment. At Panasonic, we’re helping our customers – and their customers – make the most of these investments by leveraging our technologies to increase efficiency. With Tropos Motors, we’re powering a more agile, reliable and efficient fleet of electric compact utility vehicles (eCUVs), helping to keep business flowing in tight or last-mile spaces. OneConnect assists in everything from monitoring battery maintenance/health to tampering and theft prevention. The analytics and data provided by OneConnect can be stored or accessed through the vehicle’s infotainment system or a mobile device.

Predictive and pre-emptive data for end users

OneConnect allows end users to remotely monitor their vehicle from a smart phone for predictive or pre-diagnostic maintenance reminders, over-the-air updates, tamper alerts, stolen vehicle tracking, roadside assistance and data collection to optimize vehicle performance, long-term health and value.

Riding with Harley-Davidson

We partnered with Harley-Davidson to create H-D Connect™, a proprietary service that maximizes the pre- and post-ride experience via a mobile phone app and a telematics control unit (TCU) powered by Panasonic’s OneConnect service. H-D-Connect, now a standard feature on most 2020 Harley-Davidson touring models as well as its first electric motorcycle, The LiveWire™, provides vehicle health information, security and tracking notifications and maintenance reminders, as well as a charging station finder for EV motorcycles.
