Mountain House at Windfall
This inspired new community is a project of Georgian International, which partnered with Panasonic to outfit the kitchen with style and luxury in mind. This case study explores the challenge, solution and results of this partnership from the perspectives and experiences of the designers and decision-makers.
“We consider Mountain House at Windfall a high-end project. Where it sits on 10 acres of land among gorgeous views and landscapes is truly remarkable,” explains Parker. “When we were considering Panasonic kitchen appliances for the units, we really had that same expectation that it was going to be high-end.”
While style, elegance and functionality were paramount, efficient use of space was also a consideration. The Mountain House at Windfall community offers contemporary open-concept suites in one-bedroom plus den, two-bedroom, two-bedroom plus loft and three-bedroom layout options, with each unit ranging between 673 and 1,140 square feet. The layouts were expertly designed to maximize space, catering to homeowners looking for an easy-to-main property that has all the features and convenience of a large house.
“As a designer, I was looking for an innovative solution that would work with the modern design that we’re envisioning for the project,” says Danielle Jacques, Interior Designer for Georgian International. “Smart living comes through smart design. We spent a lot of time considering all aspects of the design of the Mountain House suites and we expect that our homeowners will want the best functionality for the space provided.”
The Panasonic Solution
Parker, Jacques and their colleagues visited Panasonic’s showroom to meet with the Panasonic team and evaluate their appliance suite. The teams worked together to find the best appliances that fit the Euro kitchen design aesthetic Georgian International was creating.
“We really felt that Panasonic offered some great smaller products without sacrificing functionality,” says Parker of Georgian International’s reasoning behind selecting Panasonic as their partner for kitchen appliances.
